Signal 01 / Objective
What a Winding Road run asks of you
A narrow-road distance challenge built around small steering corrections and early preparation for bends.
A practical first-session plan
Keep attention one bend ahead and make small steering inputs before the road edge becomes urgent. Return toward the middle on short straight sections so the next curve can be approached from a balanced position with room on both sides.
Signal 02 / Controls & how to play
Where to look during the first corner
Keep your view one corner ahead and return toward the center whenever the path briefly straightens.
Input to expect
Use left-right keys, pointer movement, or the on-screen steering method.
Signal 03 / First-session plan, quick tip & recovery
One variable worth changing on the retry
If you leave the outside edge, release the turn sooner rather than counter-steering aggressively afterward.
Diagnose a stalled run
When the vehicle leaves the outside edge, the original turn was probably held too long. Release slightly earlier on the retry and avoid a large opposite correction, which can create a second loss of control.
Signal 04 / FAQ
Two questions before your first run
What should I try first with the controls?
Begin with the arrow keys so you can feel how much each tap turns the car; pointer movement and the on-screen steering control are also supported. Pick whichever input stays steady, because the run rewards small corrections.
What happens if I hold the turn too long?
The car keeps rotating and ends up aimed at the outer edge. Feed in just enough to round the bend, then release; the next curve is easier from a centered line.
