Signal 01 / Objective
What Paper Fold is asking of you
A picture-folding puzzle where selecting edges in the right sequence reveals one complete image.
A practical first-session plan
Study the visible colors and outline fragments before folding. Decide which flap should sit underneath and which detail must remain visible near the end. Use the most constrained edge first rather than selecting the largest or most obvious fold automatically.
Signal 02 / Controls & how to play
What to read on the paper first
Use visible colors and partial outlines to decide which flap belongs underneath another before folding.
Input to expect
Click or tap an exposed foldable edge for one discrete move.
Signal 03 / First-session plan, quick tip & recovery
One change that can save the picture
If an important fragment disappears, restart and postpone the fold that covered it until later.
Diagnose a stalled run
If a key image fragment disappears, the issue is usually fold order. Restart and delay the flap that covered that fragment, then check whether another edge must be placed beneath it first.
Signal 04 / FAQ
Two questions before your first fold
What does a single move look like?
One turn is a single press on an edge that can fold. If a corner stays stuck, the order is the problem — the flap that belongs underneath has not been placed yet.
How do I know which free edge to take next?
Compare the visible colors and outlines first. The flap that must sit underneath usually has to go earlier, and the detail you still need on top has to wait until the end.
