Enter narrow pockets while they stay open

A directional ball puzzle in which each move paints or occupies part of a compact board.

A practical first-session plan

Before moving, identify narrow pockets and single-entry areas that could be sealed off. Enter those spaces while their route is still open, then return to the larger connected region. Treat every turn as a decision about which squares remain reachable afterward.

Board read

Spot the single-entry spaces

Identify pockets that could become unreachable and plan to enter those areas before closing their routes.

Input to expect

Tap, click, or swipe in the direction the active ball should travel.

Recovery note

Reverse the order of the branches

When one square remains isolated, restart from the last junction and reverse the order of the branches.

Diagnose a stalled run

A lone unpainted square usually traces back to an earlier junction, not the final move. Find where the route split, reverse the order of those branches, and check that neither choice closes the only entrance to the other.

What should I watch for before the first move?

Find the pockets and single-entry areas that a path could seal off, and go into them while their route is still open. Treat each turn as a choice about which squares stay reachable afterward.

One square is left unpainted — where did the run go wrong?

Trace the route back to the junction where it split, then reverse the order of those branches. A lone unpainted square usually comes from an earlier choice closing the only entrance, not from the final move.
