Diagnose a stalled run
When the line slips or rotates, inspect the first contact point rather than making the drawing thicker everywhere. Shorten the unsupported span, lower its center of mass, or connect it to a surface that cannot move.

Two questions before your first line
What does one sketch do?
Keep the pointer or finger pressed and sketch a single unbroken stroke; letting go begins the simulation. The moment you lift, the ink becomes solid, so settle on its purpose — hold, stop, or guide — while drawing.
Is a bigger drawing automatically better?
Size alone does not add strength. A long dangling stretch creates leverage that topples the structure; resting the shape on two firm supports beats drawing more line.
